The annual Face the Public consultation event and annual Community Safety Survey have now closed. We'll post updates on this page as soon as they become available.
Through this consultation we want to hear your views on:
The draft Plan and the priorities that we have identified;
Community safety within your local area and across Hartlepool.
This project currently offers residents the opportunity to ask questions of the Partnership and complete a survey to provide their feedback on the draft Community Safety Plan 2021-24 and to help us understand their views on community safety across Hartlepool.

The draft Community Safety Plan 2021-24 has been agreed by the Safer Hartlepool Partnership and Finance and Policy Committee and is now out for consultation. The Plan provides an overview of some of the recent activities undertaken to improve community safety in Hartlepool, and sets out the key findings from the Partnership’s 2020 Strategic Assessment and previous public consultation. The proposed strategic objective and priorities in the draft Plan are the same as those identified in the Community Safety Plan 2020-21 .
The proposed strategic objective for 2021-24 is:
“To make Hartlepool a safe, prosperous and enjoyable place to live, work and visit”
The key priorities for the Safer Hartlepool Partnership in the first year (2021-22) of the Plan are:
Anti-social Behaviour
Domestic Violence
Drugs and Alcohol
Through this consultation we want to hear your views on:
The draft Plan and the priorities that we have identified;
Community safety within your local area and across Hartlepool.

To help us to understand if there are particular views in a specific area of Hartlepool or from specific sections of the community we will ask you to identify some information about yourself including your home postcode. This will not allow any individuals to be identified but will help us to understand your views. If you do not feel comfortable answering these questions then please leave them blank and move on to the next question.
What happens with the information you provide…
The data from this survey will be used to inform the final Community Safety Plan 2021-2024.
The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.

The draft Community Safety Plan 2021-24 was agreed for consultation by the Safer Hartlepool Partnership at their meeting on Monday 19th July 2021 and by Finance and Policy Committee on Monday 13th September 2021.

Consultation on the draft Community Safety Plan is open for contributions until Wednesday 10th November 2021.
For the next 2 weeks we will also be running our Face the Public Event.
