Dear student,
I hope this message finds you well. Alongside undertaking my role of Housing Assistant for the Council I am currently pursuing a degree in Business Management. As part of my independent final research project ‘Enhancing Mental Health Support Services for Student Tenants; Comparative Analysis of Organisational Practices’, I am undertaking a consultation with students. I would therefore be incredibly grateful for your participation in a survey to support this study.
Purpose of the Research
The aim of my research is to gather insights and feedback from students to develop recommendations for how housing and education providers could enhance mental health awareness and support services. This research will help me better understand the mental health challenges students may face and identify ways in which providers could improve services to support student wellbeing.
Why Your Input Matters
By sharing your experiences and perspectives, you will be helping me understand how mental health services could be made more accessible and relevant to students. Your participation is completely voluntary and all responses will remain confidential.
Consent and Data Use
Please note that by completing this survey, you are consenting to the collection of your response for the purpose of my research project. Your participation is greatly appreciated and will be used solely to inform the recommendations made in my research project; the findings will not necessarily form part of shaping the Council’s services to students going forward. You are welcome to complete the survey anonymously. Any personal information shared will remain confidential in line with data protection regulations. If you have any questions about the survey or the research I am undertaking as part of my studies, please don’t hesitate to contact me at jaxon.bartley@hartlepool.gov.uk. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this project.
Best regards, Jaxon Bartley Housing Assistant, Hartlepool Borough Council BA (Hons) Management
