Mr
I use Tesco pharmacy and they usually text me when prescriptions are ready, but that isn’t always the case. A few times I have just gone to the pharmacy when my meds are low and they are generally ready. However, once or twice I have still had to wait for a complete order and that is a week after depositing prescription with doctors. The last prescription I picked up, which was on a Thursday, having received a text on the Monday telling me the prescription was ready, when I got home I discovered that it only contained one item instead of the usual four. When I rang the pharmacy to let them know they told me that yes, it wasn’t complete and that they would text me when it was ready. when I mentioned that they never said anything about it being short when I picked it up they couldn’t explain why, they did apologise. I was also never offered an owing slip. After having waited a few days I rang to see if it was ready and they said I should have had a text telling me it was ready. Again, I had to do all the chasing.
Poor service. In future I will check prescription at counter
