Fostering & Adoption
Fostering is often used to provide temporary care whilst parents receive help to sort out problems, or to help distressed and troubled children and young people through difficult periods in their lives.
Foster Carers have an allocated Social Worker from the Fostering Team known as a Supervising Social Worker. The role of your Social Worker is to supervise and support the Foster Carer when children/young people is in their your care visiting a minimum of every 4 weeks or more if required.
