HSSCP is currently undertaking a self-assessment of how we work with and respond to neglect.
As part of this review, we are seeking feedback from practitioners, managers and leaders across the partnership. The national thematic report, 'Why Did It Take So Long to Respond? – Child Neglect: A Thematic Analysis', highlights the importance of reflecting not only on practice, but also on the systems that support practitioners to respond effectively to neglect.
Your views are essential. We want to understand what helps you do your job well, the challenges you face, and how our systems, processes and support can be improved. Your experience will help shape future improvements and strengthen our collective response to children and families affected by neglect.
