Consultation has concluded
The Audit and Governance Committee are carrying out a scrutiny investigation into derelict land and buildings (residential and commercial) in Hartlepool and as part of this piece of work a Working Group was held on the 31st October 2023 to hear in person the views and experiences of a variety of invited groups and individuals, including landlords / housing providers across the town.
Discussions during the course of the Working Group were very informative. However, we are keen ensure that we also hear the view and experiences of those who were unable to join us and any additional comments that those who attended would like to make.
As a means of doing this, we are asking landlords, agents and social housing providers with properties in Hartlepool to complete a short survey to tell us about:
Any difficulties you have in letting properties in Hartlepool
What impact, if any, derelict buildings in Hartlepool have on your business
Your ideas for action that can be taken to bring empty homes back into use
The closing date for the survey is 10th January 2024.
