Consultation has concluded
Our Housing Allocation Policy outlines how we allocate social housing available to applicants on the housing register.
It sets out:
- Our policy on applicant choice and preference
- Who can apply for housing
- How we assess and prioritise applicants for housing
We have recently drafted an updated version of our Housing Allocation Policy in response to changes in local delivery and demand.
The main changes that we are consulting on are:
- Our aims and objectives
- Who qualifies to be on the housing register
- Our priority bands
We are consulting with all residents, applicants, social landlords and relevant stakeholders to seek their views and opinions.
