Spanning a wide-range of services, the Development, Neighbourhoods and Regulatory Services (DNRS) are focussed on improving infrastructure, promoting development and profitability and enhancing the lives of the people of Hartlepool.
Our teams operate passenger services, construction, highways and environmental services as well as many other public services, and also collaborate with the schools and businesses of Hartlepool to promote regeneration and development.

If you are looking for a career in a Trade such as gas/plumbing, electrical and joinery then this is the service for you.
Our roles offer a modern working environment with all future training provided among a host of other benefits. Working as part of the construction services department offer a wide range of services from domestic to commercial electrical, plumbing and gas. You will be part of a fast paced, multi skilled trades team that pride themselves on a quality service delivered in a timely manner ensuring client satisfaction.
Electricians work in a multitude of environments from Schools, offices and domestic properties carrying out fault finding, rewires and routine maintenance of electrical system.
Plumbers/ Heating Engineers work in a multitude of environments from Schools, offices and domestic properties carrying out fault finding, installation and routine maintenance of domestic and commercial heating systems.
These roles are subject to an enhanced DBS, all future training will be provided when required.
Both roles are supported by working charge hands and supervisors that offer support in anyway needed.

Join this team to focus upon Hartlepool being a safer place to live, work and visit. Services include community safety, CCTV surveillance, car parking and environmental enforcement, environmental health and trading standards.
