    The council’s Flood and Coastal Team are responsible for managing, maintaining and implementing the coastal defence and flooding solutions that protect the borough and its residents.

    We have a large team providing school meals, where our Cooks, Assistant Cooks and Catering Assistants serve more than 800,000 value for money, high-standard meals each year.

    Our cleaning team provides a service to more than 70 schools and Council buildings to provide a safe, clean and healthy environment for our children, staff and visitors.

    As part of the application process, candidates are required to provide the contact details of two referees who have held line management responsibility as these roles are subject to safer recruitment.
