  Hartlepool Borough Council offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities across all Council departments. Our apprentices are paid in line with the national apprenticeship rates of pay, which can be found here.

  Below are some examples of the types of apprenticeships the Council regularly recruits to:

  • Business Administration, Level 3
  • Civil Engineering, Level 3
  • Customer Service, Level 3
  • Electrical, Level 3
  • Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician, Level 3
  • Horticulture, Level 2
  • Housing and Property Management, Level 3
  • Joinery, Level 2 & 3
  • Painting and Decorating, Level 2
  • Plumbing, Level 3
